What We Do

What We Do

S.O.S. International facilitates and operates compassion outreaches to India, with a focus on social development. We are committed to searching for and developing sustainable life-saving solutions to the problems the poor face every day. It is our heart to encourage and empower the local church to be a solution in their community.*

This includes, but is not limited to the following projects:

In India:

Water of Life - India
Access to safe, clean water is one of the most serious problems in India today. We are responding by providing water wells in villages and schools, alleviating the suffering caused by contaminated water. Water of Life is transforming communities while revealing God’s love in a practical, sustainable way.

Destiny India Project
Schools and Feeding the Destiny India Project is unlocking the doors to a brighter future, helping children to redeem their tomorrow by providing five basic needs: Education, Food, Clothing, Medical Care, and Mentoring

India Life Center - India
India has the largest population of street children in the world. The India LIFE Center is a home where these orphaned and abandoned children are loved, provided for, and offered a bright future in Christ. S.O.S. is committed to helping equip families in India to open their hearts as a family and receive these children.

Project Red Light Rescue
The project works to rescue and rehabilitate women and children trafficked into lives of sexual slavery in Asia's largest red-light district. . This initiative provides for each rescued girl's needs, provides care for children of women trafficked into the sex trade and rescues children before they can be trafficked.

Conferences and Training - India
S.O.S. recognizes that good leadership is one of the keys to effective ministry. We are fully committed to teaching and equipping national pastors.

777 Project
Every minute 4 children die from water-related illness. The estimated cost of giving a 30-year supply of water to one person in India is $7.77. The 777 Project is designed around the concept of providing a sustained source of funding for exponential impact on communities without safe water in India. By signing up to give $7.77 every month, you are helping to stop the death.

Hope for North Texas
Hope for North Texas is the local outreach arm of S. O. S. International. Over the past 20 years of working internationally, we have seen the impact of individuals as they find ways to be part of the solution for people around them. Through the establishing of Hope for North Texas, our desire is to create meaningful opportunities here, where church members can find areas to plug into and use their gifts and their passions to connect with local needs.
